Lee photos

Three of Russell Lee's Photographs circa 1940

"I did remember a photograph of a woman looking proudly at one of her jars of canned goods. The woman's name, I was to learn, was Doris Caudill. In all, I found out later, Lee took more than six hundred photographs in the Pie Town area, and Doris and her family appeared in over a hundred of them." - Joan Myers
